The Village Church
We are an interdenominational body of believers founded in 2000 in the World Golf Village, St. Augustine, FL. The church has grown from a start of six people to over 600 members.
We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, Father of all nations, the source of all truth and love.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, our Teacher, example and Redeemer, Savior of the world.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, God present in us, providing guidance, comfort and strength.
We believe in the Church, to unite those who love God in His worship and service.
We believe in the reign of God as the divine will for human society.
We believe in the family of God where, as His children, we all inherit His grace.
We believe that we are a people saved from the power of sin by the grace of God through his Son, Jesus Christ.
What to Expect
We worship together each Sunday morning at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Our
worship services are a blend of the old and new, where guitars, drums,
and keyboards share in worship with choirs and organs as we praise God
through the hymns of believers through the ages and the music of a new
generation.
For children under 4, we offer a fully staffed Nursery.
For children ages 4 through 5th grade, we have children’s Sunday School at 9 am with nursery available at both services, as well as special events throughout the year, and Vacation Bible School each summer.
For youth in grades 6-12, we have Bible Study during the 9 am and 11am service, youth group on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 pm and youth group with Good News Church down the road from 5:30 – 8:00 PM.
For adults, we have Bible Studies for Men and Women, Small Group Meetings, Sunday School between services on Sunday mornings, a Seniors Group, opportunities to minister in our own community and far beyond, and much, much more.
