Nic Patterson
Director of Music and Media
Nic Patterson comes to The Village Church with over 25 years of ministry, music, and media experience. As a young pastor at one of the largest United Methodist churches in the world and has both founded and directed choirs, praise teams, and instrumental ensembles of all sizes and ages and started the first officially recognized completely online campus in United Methodist history. He spent a wonderful season in Taize, France where he saw interdenominational ministry in action and loves how we can bring the best of all our traditions to the Lord.
He currently serves as the Division A Director for Toastmasters International, serving all of northeastern Florida. He is president of North Jax Toastmasters Club. formerly competing in the International Championship of Public Speaking and the International Speech Contest. Nic is a talented communicator and maintains an active speaking schedule with inspirational/motivational speaking, workshops on Advanced Speech Writing, and is giving a TEDx speech in January of 2023.
Nic founded the Storm Foundation, a faith-based non-profit helping those who deal with substance abuse, release from incarceration, or who haven't been able to realize their true potential - the least, last, and lost. He is giving His passion for connecting people with Jesus through worship, discipleship, music, and social media intersects with his responsibilities here at The Village Church.
Nic is an active musician and gives concerts and teaches here at the Village Church and online.
